Its been a very busy week. Last night we were waiting around for our turn to head to parent teacher conferences for the girls. I got a call from "east meadows" which is how its saved in my phone. It was Mrs. Jolley, hallies teacher. I assumed she was calling about P.T.C. But Todd was there and hadnt felt comfortable just calling me so he always has Jennifer call me. (his sister) She told me Todd is here and wanted to talk to me. Todd got on the phone and said that KSL was coming to their home tonight and wanted to interview Logan. He said they (Powells) wanted Hallie there and had tried on many attempts to get hallie out there on the news but they kept cutting it out. So he felt getting her there we would get that done. So we rushed to get hallie ready and wait for Todds call back. I was in a panic to get a sitter. Mom helped me and got my cousin Carrie here. (thanks Carrie :)).. Todd called and said head over. They actually live right next to our stake center. So close. We got there and they had already started interviewing his parents, so hallie and i stood there and watched. Pretty neat. They then started to interview Hallie, but before Laura and Todd gave hallie a hug. they have meet her previously at school. Laura ran over to me and gave me a hug. it was so nice. When we walked up to the house, we meet Breeana, logans other sister. she said Hallie is their familys hero.
As you can see hallie did awesome on her interview. i was so proud of her. they did cut things out but she did great. Laura told us that Logan said something to her the other night, "mom, im so grateful hallie saved my life". she said she broke down when he told her that. I was so touched.
we got to visit with the family after the crew left. I found out Lauras parents are serving a mission in Germany :) They have 7 children, 20-2. They have lived there for 11 years.
Todd, is so awesome. he wants to make sure in every way hallie is honored. he is contacting the city mayor to get something done for Hallie. Ill let you know how that goes. anyways. thats all i can remember for now. it was so much, but so worth it all. here is the news link.

Logan and his oldest sister Asia. She's a sweetheart.
Logan is a stud.
Lt. Anderson was the second police officer at the school. He was telling us that he and the first officer that arrived are usually sitting in the office all day. it just happened that they were so close to the school that day.
he was really cool guy
Hallie telling the news people her story.. I love her eyes!!!! they are sooo blue!
She was so excited to see Logan and to go to his house! it was a very special experience!
Logans open heart surgery. he has a cut down on the left side where his machine is.
they had them sit and chat with the officer so that they can get clips of it. They are the sweetest people ever!
Logan showing Hallie all his loot he got from the hospital.
as you can see, this was after she warmed up and was her normal hyper friendly self. His older sisters took them to go play the wii. it was so fun to see them hang out.
Todd and Laura are amazing!
Hallie playing with the Kitchen set while Logan was suppose to be eating lol
we have truly made some new special friends who we will be our friends for life, thanks for having us over Powells!

well its all so surreal to me that it all has even happened. That's wonderful that they aren't forgetting Hallie's important roll. I think it's cute how both the kids are low key about it all.
We are so happy that Logan is ok now. Way to go Hallie. We love you so much!
