five hearts as one

The day finally came when I knew I didnt have to ache anymore and I would get to meet my son. A new baby and new spirit and joy in our little family, now a family of 6. WOW! Am I crazy? Can I do this? Of course I can!! Im no different than anyone else.
I woke up Tuesday morning at 6:06 am. I was suppose to call the hospital at 6 am. Ooops little late and I still had to get the sitter here so we could get down to Provo. They wanted me there in 30 min. It didnt happen. We got there about 7:30 and had to wait in the waiting room. Another couple was waiting to get checked in too. I got to my room about 8:15. They started to put the belts around my belly which where actually giving me credit this time for the contractions I was having. The Nurse got me an IV and had checked me and i was a 2 plus. Much better than i was on Thursday. Then the dr came and broke my water about 9 am. He said i was almost a 3, even better. MAN! I started to get those contractions pretty good. Enough to cry. I wasnt even on the Pit yet. But my great mother who had all 6 kids natural helped me "breath" through them. It was hard, painful but I was doing it. (WHY DID I GET THE EPIDERAL THEN??) That ended up causing me the most pain after labor and while at home. Basically a pinched nerve. Man they really hurt. BUT, I did get it and we had some fun making fun of my Numb legs. The nurse checked me, we took guesses of his weight, length, etc. We were taking a picture of me and my sisters and my mom and guess what.. say cheese.. I said GET THE NURSE LOL. I went from a 4 to a 10 in 40 MINUTES!! that was at 12:20.. He was born at 12:37 was 8 lbs 8 oz 21 in long. CUTE!! LONG!! and strawberry blonde hair. JOY! JOY! The DR was awesome and Jaxson was great. He had the cord wrapped a bit around his neck so we had to watch him for a bit, he wasnt staying "pink" he looked pail, but then he would perk up again.
You just want to hold him and not let him go. But he grows so fast.. I dont even want to think about it.
I have had GREAT help. I couldnt ask for anything better. I have had my sisters take my kids, having sleepovers, coming to my house and Cleaning it too (thanks min and seth) and my mom even staying with me for the weekend. THanks so much everyone. Aunt Raylene took the girls to richfield and that was fun for the girls and a break for me. Also Lincoln started to Potty train. I cant believe he is growing up so fast. The girls are great helpers and cant get enough of Jaxson. We have to beware of Lincoln at first he wanted nothing to do with me or Jaxson, but now has to hold his leg while i change his diaper, gives his binky while he cries and is just a great big brother. Now on to figuring out a routine and lots of apts.
