SWIMMING

We love to swim. I have always loved to swim since I was a child. So having my own kids and being able to let them enjoy the things I have is such a fun thing to see. I just get a smile on my face that never goes away. Last year I think it was Mallory wasnt sure about the water. Hallie didnt care about it. This year they LOVE IT.. except I cant get Mallory to get rid of the donut floaty. Hallie would take all her floaties off and not care. She is such a dare devil. I really want to get the girls in swimming lesson. I want them to enjoy the water and be comfortable in it and know how to swim incase something happens when im not there. I want them to go under the water and not be afraid. Anyone have any good places they recommend?
So here is really our first pool experience this year. Lincoln LOVED IT!! As you can see he feel asleep in the floaty. How easy was that. It didnt even feel that hot.. and it was hot!!

Academy of Dance Design

We signed Mallory up for dance last Fall. She loved it in the beginning, but towards the end it got hard just getting her dressed for dance. I believe it was because she knew the 2 dances so well she got board with it. But on March 20 she and a dance rehearsal on the BIG STAGE and she loved it that she was so excited for the next day where everyone was there to watch her on the big stage, oh and she could where her costume.

Ms. Amanda her teacher and the Owner.

I was nervous for her both days, but she was so proud and did so well. I was worried on practice day because i had to leave her with some strangers for 2 hours while they did rehearsal. But when i picked her up she was beaming. I was then relaxed.

Well sat we had her recital. It was so fun and exciting to watch. I was a proud mommy. She was very focused on watching her teacher. We cheered so loud for her and you knew it just tickeled her. I love being a mom and watching my kids grow. Having them learn new things makes me so happy. here are some pictures. sorry they are not the best but we couldnt have the flash on. enjoy!

Grandpa was just as proud. it was her night!

She couldnt have been more proud of her award!!!

100% attendance.

I thought it was really cute. Aunt Raylene asked her if she was the best one because Mallory was showing her this award. Mallory's response was "No, everyone was".

Afterwards, we went to Baskin Robbins for Ice Cream.

Strawberry Days

Wednesday was Jons day off so we decided we would have a bit of family time together. So we took the kids and went to the Carnival with my sister Natasha and sister Mindy and her family. We had a lot of fun. I love seeing the girls so happy and experience new things. This year I really didn't have the urge to ride anything which is weird because i love rides. We got to the Carnival about 5:45 and didn't leave until about 9 or a little after. Talk about being so tired.

Little Boys (and girls) and Big Toys

About a week ago Jon found out that Larry's Towing (his work) was going be in the Orem parade. We were all excited cause we got to ride on the truck with him. The girls couldnt wait. Each day, all day, every night, "mom is it the parade today?" it was cute to see their excitement.

Saturday came and we got ready for the evening parade. It sure was a warm day, but at least it wasn't raining on us. We were number 116.. the very end. We had to wait at least an hour before we could start moving, once we did it was crazy. so many people, and the horn kept going off every 3 sec right in my ear, so i became deaf. at least it felt like it. I couldn't hear anyone yelling for us so if you were, I'm sorry. Hallie could care less to wave to anyone, she just wanted to eat her candy. mallory tried to wave but got board, so i did most of the waving. Lincoln loved being in the front with Jon and my brother Colton. He was grinning ear to ear.

Thanks to my family for taking all the pictures. we wouldn't have any if it weren't for you. But i was sure a fun parade. Afterwards we went to Larry's and had a BBQ and watched the fireworks from his back yard which were right over our heads. Hallie was sitting on the blanket eating her hot dog and the next thing i know she is up running with her plate. She said "they are going to fall on me!" LOL it was so cute so she ran under the patio to watch.

"Trucker Status"

November 1st, 2007, the morning after Halloween Night. Around 6 am Jon was in a serious Semi Accident. He was pulling double belly dumps and was loaded. I want to thank family, friends, neighbors, Drs, ward members, and Jons wonderful company for all your love, support, prayers, and help. We couldnt have gotten through this without you.

So Ill do my best to give updates on Jon since his accident. He is doing pretty great about his leg. Its pretty sore and achy at times after being on it all day.. but we are still grateful the fact he still has a leg :) Ill put a nice one on instead of the "open wound" picture.

This is with the wound vac on. I think this was after his first surgery, night of the accident.

This is about 2 months ago..... after the skin graft.
This is current. It gets better everyday. Hallie loves to take care of daddy's leg and make it feel all better... she'll even just give it kisses.

We are so grateful for Jon and for the fact he still has use of his leg. He still has no feeling at the top of his chin.. but they say that might come back in time.

Two weeks ago, while Jon was sweeping the road after an accident he threw his back out. He was out of work for a week. We have been going to the Chiropractor and he said this injury is from his accident. It was just waiting for the right move to throw it out. He sees Dr hansen for his back 3 times a week and he is doing well. Lets keep it that way :)

I still get very emotional going into details of that very morning... but i can say now we have received great blessings and are closer than ever. We hope that we can fine a more steady job until December rolls around when Jon can drive with Burningham again.

Jon I love you more than you will ever know and im so grateful you are still in my life and our kids lives. Keep staying strong and things will all work out!

Catch up .... a little

Im going to try to catch you up on some things i've missed blogging on... I would love to share. So where do I begin? March 21 st my baby boy turned ONE! oh my im kinda sad only cause he is growing so dang fast! He has been showing such personality it makes me laugh. He is definitely getting back at his sisters already for picking on him so young. I love him to pieces. Its so fun having a boy. I cant explain how its different from having girls but it is. He sure is a mommys boy, but will run to daddy the sec he comes in the door. He has such a cute laugh... its like a really deep deep giggle. SO cute!

As you can see he isnt starving.. He was weighing in at 22 pounds at 6 months! my biggest baby yet.

We have really had a hard winter this year with the kids being sick. More than the previous winters. Lincoln got it the hardest yet... I think it was March he had RSV, so so sad and so hard to see your baby go through so much misery.. it breaks my heart.

So we delt with the RSV.. He was a some anitbiotics.. was ok for about 2 weeks and then i swear he was getting RSV again.... All i could say was " could this ever end", cause not only would Linc be sick.. but one of or both of the girls would not be feeling well. Linc was just the worse.

I had taken him into the ER, his temp was just up and he just didnt sound good. I believe this was my neices party (March 29) so we went to the ER and they did chest X-rays and I cant stand to watch that. They put this little chubby guy in this cacoon looking thing with his arms above his head as he stradles this little bike seat. Its just awful .. and he just seemed a little big for it cause the more he kept screaming the more it would start to come undone. So sad. I cry everytime.

The Xrays come back 2 hrs later... like 1 am.. we can hardly keep our eyes open. He has ear infections and bronulitus... its in the RSV family.. so we take him home,.. 2 days later i have him seeing his regular dr cause he just seems worse. He puts him on a stronger antibiotic and breathing treatments at home every four hours. Poor guy... cant breath.. goes into cough attacks. Mean while my nephew who is 2 months older than linc get admitted to the hospital at like 4 am the same morning we were in the er. We love you Maverick!
Either 2 or 3 maybe 4 days later we were back in the ER. More X-rays... and another Strong anitbiotic on top of what he is already getting. This poor little guy just feels so yucky. But with many blessings and lots of prayers... and a couple more times to the ER.. Linc is much better.
SPRING PLEASE COME AND STAY!!!
its late now..so hopefully tomorrow i will update you on jon since his wreck.

IM SO EXCITED!

Well as you can see im finally getting my blog the way i want it bit by bit. thanks everyone for your help. I get myself confused real easy.

OK SO .... I am a huge fan of Good Things Utah!!. So I get to be in the audience on Memorial Day ( May 26th) and my Birthday ( June 5). So watch for me!!! Channel 4 10-11 am.. I am a big fan even though i didnt have the guts to do my own video to be a guest host.. im too shy.. this is good enough for me. I am just thrilled! I have even sent lincolns first birthday picture in and they played it on his birthday with all the little cute one year olds that day. I think i forgot to add his name, because they had "Happy Birthday" under his picture.. OOOPS! LOL.. and i also sent in my "sweetheart" picture for Valentines week. They played it on Friday!.
